MANTRA MEDITATION FOR BEGINNERS
Sunday, October 22nd from 7-8:30pm
Mantra Meditation is a silent technique in which sounds are spoken internally as a point of focus. This class offers a complete introduction to the practice. Participants will then be able to try the technique in a guided session and ask whatever questions come up. There will also be time to connect with others and share experiences. All are welcome; there is no experience necessary. Meditation is best practiced in a seated position with a vertical spine. Participants are encouraged to bring whatever cushions are needed for comfort.
Advanced Mantra Meditation: The Healing Power of Sound
Sunday, November 5th from 7-8:30pm
This class will offer a deep dive into the world of mantras. We will explore the ways in which sound creates the basis of our reality and look at ways we can use it enact healing and real positive change in our lives. There will also be instruction on some specific mantras that can be used in one’s daily discipline, and a longer period of time to practice. The session will close with an opportunity to connect and share with others.
Meditation is best practiced in a seated position with a vertical spine. Participants are encouraged to bring whatever cushions are needed for comfort. While all are welcome for this class, it is best suited for those who have experience with some type of silent meditation technique.
